ORAL ORDER

The present writ petition is filed seeking for the following reliefs, “a) Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, restraining the Respondents, their officers, servants and agents from transferring or otherwise changing Dy.S.P. Shri Lokesh, the Investigating Officer in Koppal Lokayukta Police Station Case No.4/2026 dated 07.04.2026, till completion of the investigation and filing of the final report/charge-sheet in the said case;

b) Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, directing Respondent No.2 & 3 to consider and dispose of the Petitioner's representations evenly dated 14.07.2026 (Annexure "B" & "C"), in accordance with law, by a reasoned and

speaking order, within a time-frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court;

c) Pass such other Writ, order or direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice.”

2. It is clear and forthcoming that the petitioner seeks for direction to restrain the respondents from changing the investigating officer in Koppal Lokayuktha police station. The petitioner is in no manner connected with any investigation carried out by the Investigating officer.

3. The petitioner seeks to contend that he is a resident of the district and agriculturist by occupation. That investigation carried out by the officer concerned involves private persons with political influence.

4. The grievances as articulated by the petitioner in the present petition are not which are fundamentally required to be entertained and adjudicated by this court in the present writ petition. Accordingly the present writ petition stands dismissed.

HC-KAR

5. This order will not preclude the petitioner from making a representation to the concerned authority/ies for redressal of his grievances.
