3. A crime comes to be registered in Crime No. 200/2025 on 16.12.2025 for offences punishable under Sections 8(c) and 22(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. The police seized the vehicle in which the contraband was found. The vehicle belongs to the petitioner. The petitioner on the score that he was not aware that the vehicle would be used for transportation of contraband, files an application before the concerned Court invoking Section 497 and 503 of the BNSS, 2023. The concerned Court rejected the application on the score that the contraband was found in the vehicle of the petitioner. The vehicle is now stranded before a particular police station after it being seized and P. F. being drawn.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he was not aware of the contraband being transported and he is not even drawn as an accused in the said proceeding.

5. In the light of the said submission, despite the objections of the learned HCGP, on certain conditions, I deem it
