ORAL ORDER
(PER: HON'BLE MR. VIBHU BAKHRU, CHIEF JUSTICE)
1. The learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents.
2. The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that direction be issued to the respondents for grant of licence for
HC-KAR
stone crushing licence over an area of 1.36 acres of land in Sy.26, H. Thimmapura Village, Tarikere Taluk, Chikkamagalur District. The petitioner states that he had made an application seeking grant of licence on 28.02.2022 and thereafter a joint inspection was conducted on 03.06.2022. However, the petitioner's application has yet not been processed.
3. The learned Government Advocate submits on instructions that a final decision will be taken within a period of eight weeks from date and the same will be communicated to the petitioner.
4. In view of the statement, no further orders are required to be passed, except that the respondents are bound down by the said statement. The petition is accordingly disposed of.
