ORAL ORDER

(PER: HON'BLE MR. VIBHU BAKHRU, CHIEF JUSTICE)

1. The petitioner has filed the present petition as a public interest litigation praying that a direction be issued to respondents No.1 and 2 to take immediate steps for constitution and operationalisation of an additional bench at the National Company Law Tribunal, Bengaluru [NCLT].

2. It is the petitioner's case that an additional bench is required, given the pendency of matters in the NCLT.

3. We do not consider it apposite to issue any directions in this regard. However, it would be appropriate for the concerned authorities to consider the issue of pendency of matters and for creation of an additional bench, if necessary.

4. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
