ORAL JUDGMENT

(PER: HON'BLE MR. VIBHU BAKHRU, CHIEF JUSTICE)

1. The appellant has filed the above captioned appeal after an inordinate delay of 1365 days. The affidavit accompanying the application seeking condonation of delay seeks to explain the delay on the ground that his financial condition was not good. The appellant also states that though he requested the Secretary of the Karnataka State Commission for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes to file a writ appeal, no steps were taken as there was no

HC-KAR

President for the said commission. We are not persuaded to accept the said explanation that the appellant was prevented by sufficient cause from filing the appeal within the stipulated period.

2. In view of the above, the application seeking condonation of delay is dismissed. Consequently, the appeal is dismissed as well.
