ORAL ORDER

(PER: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE R DEVDAS)

Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that similar writ petitions were disposed of by this Court, including W.P.No.4437/2022, by order dated 15.03.2022

HC-KAR

taking note of the fact that the petitioner-State had filed a Special Leave Petition before the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLA (C) No.15515/2021 and the Hon'ble Supreme Court had passed interim order on 08.10.2021.

2. However, the writ petitions were disposed of by directing implementation of the orders passed by the Karnataka State Administrative Tribunal in Applications No.10783/2016, 10784/2016 and 10785/2016, further subjecting the re-fixation to be contingent to the orders that may be passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

3. Learned AGA submits that during the month of May 2026 the Special Leave Appeals have been disposed of by the Hon'ble Supreme Court leaving open the question of law to be decided in an appropriate case. Learned AGA further submits that the respondent has already attained the age of superannuation and therefore whatever benefit was to be given to the respondent is already given in terms of the directions issued by this

HC-KAR

Court. Therefore, the writ petition may be disposed of accordingly.

4. Placing the submission of the learned AGA on record, the writ petition stands disposed of.
