ORAL ORDER

The petitioners are before the Court, seeking the following prayers: "a) Order to secure records in S.C.No.1303/2017, now pending on the file of 64th Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bangalore (CH-65).

b) Order to quash the entire criminal prosecution pending in S.C.No.1303/2017, now pending on the file of 64th Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bangalore (CCH-65).

c) To pass any other order as deems fits to be granted under the facts and circumstances of the

HC-KAR

case by allowing the above petition with exemplary cost, in the interest of justice and equity."

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would restrict the prayer for one of a direction to the concerned Court seeking speedy disposal of the matter.

3. In the light of the said submission, the examination gets narrowed to the fact as to the registration of the crime and the pending proceedings before the concerned Court. The crime is of the year 2017 and the matter is languishing before the concerned Court. A perusal at the order sheet would indicate adjournments being granted without rhyme or reason ad nauseam.

4. In that light, I deem it appropriate to infuse finality into the proceedings with a direction to the concerned Court to conclude the proceedings, within an outer limit of six months from the date of receipt of the copy of the order, if not earlier.

5. With the aforesaid observation, the petition stands disposed.

HC-KAR

Ordered accordingly.
