ORAL JUDGMENT

(PER: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE D K SINGH) The present intra Court appeal has been filed impugning the judgment and order dated 12.11.2025 by the Writ Court in W.P.No.14505/2025. The writ petition came to be filed by the appellant, assailing the order dated 27.09.2024 passed by the I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Chitradurga in Civil Misc.No.268/2020.

2. The District and Sessions Judge in Civil Misc.No.268/2020 against the order passed by the Deputy

HC-KAR

Commissioner determining the compensation of Rs.9,63,467/- for erecting the high voltage 220 kilowatts towards the power line corridor over the line of the respondent, enhanced the compensation by another sum of Rs.7,25,490/- along with 8% interest per annum from the date of petition till its realization to the petitioner.

3. The learned Single Judge in view of the judgment of this Court in Executive Engineer and Another Vs. Doddakka1, has held that the enhanced compensation by Rs.7,25,490/- was quantified and determined in accordance with the guidelines for payment of the compensation in such a case.

4. We find no error in the impugned judgment and order passed by the learned Single Judge. Having found that the writ appeal without any merit, we dismiss the same.
