JUDGMENT

The petitioner belongs to economically weaker section category. There is no age relaxation for such category for making application under the Kerala Administrative Service. The petitioner seeks age relaxation similar to the candidates belong to SC/ST and OBC etc. The Kerala Administrative Tribunal, Thiruvananthapuram (Additional Bench, Ernakulam, for short 'the Tribunal') directed the Government to consider the request of the petitioner. We are not interfering with the direction of the Tribunal, as it does not involve the policy decision of the Government. However, the petitioner's prayer for acceptance of the application cannot be considered, as it is against the stipulation of the notification.
