JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking limited relief. He prays that Ext.P3 application filed by him for variation of permit be considered and disposed of by the 1st respondent within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Government Pleader submits that the petitioner had earlier obtained Ext.P2 order from the State Transport Appellate Tribunal. It is submitted that in Ext.P3, the petitioner is now requesting that the proposal directed to be considered by the State Transport Appellate Tribunal need not be considered, and a fresh proposal submitted by the petitioner may be considered. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader and having regard to the limited nature of relief sought for by the petitioner, this writ petition will stand disposed of, directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on

Ext.P3, in accordance with the law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment. I make it clear that I have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter, and it will be open to the 1st respondent to consider Ext.P3 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with the law.
