ORDER

The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to survey and demarcate the properties comprised in Survey Nos.1344/2, 1345 and 1346, situated at Panavadalichathiram Village, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tenkasi District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2026, within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the subject properties are ancestral properties. In the family partition that took place on 12.03.1975, the subject properties were allotted to the petitioner's husband's father, Vijayan. As such, the petitioner and her family members have been in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the said properties. The petitioner submitted an online application bearing No.

2026/0123/34/002305 on 02.07.2026, seeking survey of the subject properties. However, the said application has not been considered by the authorities. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, submits that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the online application of the petitioner bearing No.2026/0123/34/002305 dated 02.07.2026 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, the petitioner's son, the legal heirs of Vijayan, the neighbouring landowners and other interested parties.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 17.08.2026 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes skn
