Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to conduct and complete the official survey and measurement of the petitioner's lands pursuant to survey online
application No. 000289/2026 dated 18.02.2026, the notice dated 08.07.2026, and the survey proceedings commenced on 16.07.2026, in accordance with law and also directing the 5th and 6th respondents to provide adequate, effective and continuous police protection to the Revenue and Survey Officials for conducting and completing the said survey, and to ensure that the 7th respondent and his family members do not obstruct, threaten, intimidate or otherwise interfere with the said officials in the discharge of their statutory duties.

ORDER
The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to conduct survey of the subject property based on the online application dated 18.02.2026.
2. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. It is seen from the typed set of papers that the subject property stands in the name of the Anandan, Dhanalakshmi and Thenmozhi. The petitioner is not owner of the subject property. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to issue any direction to the respondent to consider the application filed by the petitioner.
Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. However, if any application is filed in the name of the owners of the property, the same shall be considered by the respondent in accordance with law. No costs.
