ORDER

The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the petitioner's land in S.No.884/1 situated at Ward- B, Chinnamanur, Chinnamanur Town, Uthamapalayam, Theni District, respectively and fix its boundaries as per the revenue records by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.05.2026.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.Lekshmana Abish, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mrs.K.Porkodi, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is going to be passed as against the private respondents, notice to them is dispensed with. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that she is in possession of the property comprised in S.No.10/7B, Old S.No.884/1 part, Chinnamanur Town, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District. She submitted an application before the official respondents seeking survey of the said property. Though the official respondents issued notice twice on 26.01.2022 and 16.02.2025, the survey has not been conducted. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for respondents 1 and 2, submits that TSLR for the subject property stands in the name of several persons. Therefore, there is a difficulty in surveying the property.

5. In the light of the said submission, this Court is inclined to issue direction to respondents 1 and 2 to consider the application filed by the petitioner seeking survey of the subject property and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of sixteen (16) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, all the pattadhars mentioned in the Town Survey Land Register for the subject property and other neighboring land owners.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
