Present Mr.S.Biswajit, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr.W.Sanatomba, learned counsel for petitioner and Ms.R.K.Emily, learned Dy. Government Advocate for State respondents.
Mr.S.Biswajit, learned senior counsel for petitioner submits that MC (WP(C)) No.669 of 2026 is filed for withdrawal of WP(C) No.585 of 2026 on the ground that Government had issued batch of orders dated 24.8.2026 giving respective rooms to the applicants/petitioners and hence, cause of petition does not survive.
In the circumstance, application is allowed, WP(C) No.585 of 2026 is disposed of as infructuous and MC (WP(C)) Nos.613 of 2026 also stand disposed of.
Petitioners are at liberty to approach the appropriate forum if aggrieved by any subsequent order issued by the Authority.
