Mr. Kh. Shamungou, learned counsel for petitioner, submits that the prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to respondents for issuance of non-objection certificate to the petitioner for pursuing Ph.D. programme in law at Dhanamanjuri University in the academic session 2025-2026. Since academic session is over, the cause of the writ petition does not survive and writ petition may be closed as infructuous.
Mr. Th. Vashum, learned G.A. for State respondent, submits that this Court may pass appropriate order.
Considering the submissions made at bar, writ petition is closed as infructuous. MC(WP(C) No. 353 of 2025 is also disposed of. Interim order, if any, merged with the final order.
