The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023 with the prayer, inter alia, for issuing a direction to the Fast Track Special Court No. 2, Manipur, to decide / dispose of the application filed by the present petitioner registered as Cril. said application will be heard and decided with the main case at the time of final hearing. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that hearing of the main trial has been scheduled on 30-06-2026.

Accordingly, the present petition as well as the connected application is hereby closed by directing the Fast Track Special Court No. 2, Manipur, to consider and decide first the issue of juvenility of the victim girl raised by the present petitioner in the said Cril. Misc. (Application) Case No. 2 of 2026 strictly in accordance with law.
