Mr. N. Umakanta, learned senior counsel assisted by Ms. Kathanlu Riamei, learned counsel appeared on behalf of respondent and submitted that the directions given by this Court have been duly complied with by the respondents by issuing an order dated 03.02.2026. The learned senior counsel accordingly prays for closing the contempt case. Mr. S. Rupachandra, learned senior counsel appeared on behalf of the petitioners and the submitted that the petitioners may be granted liberty to challenge the said order dated 03.02.2026 issued by the respondents. In view of the submission made above, the present contempt case is hereby closed. Needless to mention here that the petitioners are at liberty to challenge the said compliance order dated 03.02.2026 by filing appropriate writ petition.
