20-05-2026 Mr. Rendy, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition as the petitioner has already retired from service and the cause of the writ petition has become infructuous. Mr. Niranjan Sanasam, learned Government Advocate for the State respondents appearing through video conferencing, submits that this Court may pass appropriate order. In the circumstances and considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the subsequent event of superannuation of the petitioner, the writ petition is closed as infructuous. Any interim order merges with the final order. MC(WP(C)) No. 363 of 2024 is accordingly closed.
