13-05-2026 Present Mr. M. Rendy, learned counsel for the petitioner; Ms. Kh. Maria, learned counsel for respondent Nos. 1 to 4. Also present Ms. Y. Jinita, learned counsel for the applicant in MC(WP(C)) No. 42 of 2021 for impleading as respondent No. 5. Mr. M. Rendy, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner is now promoted to the post of Principal Private Secretary in the Manipur Legislative Assembly and hence, the cause of the writ petition does not survive. In the circumstances, the writ petition is closed as infructuous. MC(WP(C)) No. 42 of 2021 is accordingly disposed of.
