28-04-2026 Present Mr. Juno Rahman, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Y. Nirmolchand, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. Y. Nikhil, learned counsel for the respondent. MC(CONT. CAS(C)) No. 20 of 2026 is filed by respondent No. 1 enclosing an order dated 29-09-2025 issued by the Commissioner (Home), Government of Manipur. It is stated that by this order, the direction of this Court in the order dated 04-12-2024 in WP(C) No. 877 of 2022 has already been complied. It is stated that the contempt petition may be closed as the direction has already been complied. Mr. Juno Rahman, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the contempt petition may be closed as the direction is complied although belatedly. Recording the submissions made at the Bar, the contempt petition, i.e. CONT. CAS(C) No. 43 of 2025 is closed as infructuous and MC(CONT. CAS(C)) No. 20 of 2026 is also disposed of.
