Present Ms. Ph. Sandyarani, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. H. Debendra, learned Dy. Advocate General assisted by Ms. I. Sharmila, learned junior Government counsel on behalf of the respondent. Today, during the course of hearing, Mr. H. Debendra, learned Dy. Advocate General, produced an order dated 04-11-2025 issued by the Joint Secretary (Health & Family Welfare), Government of Manipur rejecting the representation dated 12-05-2022 submitted by the petitioner and it is submitted that after issuance of the subsequent order dated 04-11-2025, the cause of the contempt petition does not survive. In the circumstances, the contempt petition is closed leaving open the legality of the order dated 04-11-2025.
