In view of the inquiry report dated 14th April, 2026 of the Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills, Tura, learned Senior Counsel for the appellants does not press this appeal. He, however, seeks liberty to adopt appropriate proceeding as may be maintainable in law before the appropriate forum.

2. The appeal is accordingly disposed of as not pressed with liberty as prayed.

3. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the inquiry report.
