IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK

W.P.(C) No.27919 of 2026

CNR No. ODHC010626422026

Deepak Kumar Swain

….

Petitioner

Mr. M.K.Pradhan, Advocate

-versus-

State of Odisha and Ors.

….

Opposite Parties

Mr. S.N.Nayak, ASC

CORAM:

SHRI JUSTICE B. P. ROUTRAY

ORDER

11.09.2026 Order No.

01.

1. The matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. Heard Mr. Pradhan, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. Nayak, learned ASC for State.

3. The Petitioner has challenged the selection of private-Opposite Party No.7 as a member of School Managing Committee (SMC) on the ground that he does not fulfil the prescribed conditions as per the guidelines issued to that effect. Perusal of the writ petition does not reveal anything prima facie in support of contentions of the petitioner to disqualify Opposite Party No.7 as a member of the SMC.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
