1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned counsel for the Opposite Parties-Contemnors.

3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner at the outset contended that being aggrieved by non-compliance of order dated 19.02.2022 passed in W.P.(C) No.34226 of 2022, the Petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present contempt application.

4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner at the outset contended that the dispute involved in the present contempt application is squarely covered by the judgment passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court on

Page 2 of 2. dated 21.02.2025 passed in SLP(C) No.2146 of 2024 (State of Orissa vs. Sudhansu Sekhar Jena). The aforesaid position of law has not been disputed by the Opposite Party-contemnors as they have also relied upon the said judgment in the show cause affidavit.

5. In view of the aforesaid position, the present application has been disposed of to implement the order passed by this Court in terms of judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Sudhansu Sekhar Jena’s case (supra) within a period of six weeks on the date of communication of a copy of today’s order, failing which the Contemnors-Opposite Parties shall be asked to appear before this Court and explain as to why they shall not be proceeded against under the Contempt of Court’s Act.

6. Accordingly, the contempt application is disposed of. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to revive the same, in the event, the Opposite Parties fail to implement the order dated 04.07.2022 within the aforesaid time stipulation.
