Order No.

ORDER

10.09.2026

01.

1. Without delving deep into the issue relating to the entertainability of the instant writ petition and the relief claimed therein, we find that the grievance is focused on the inaction and/or dormant attitude of the concerned authority in arriving at a decision, despite the communications having been made on several occasions by the Collector.

2. The Petitioner has annexed several letters issued by the Collector, recommending the inclusion of the Gram Panchayat within an exclusive privilege area; yet, no decision has been taken in the matter.

3. The learned Additional Standing Counsel submits, on instructions that the authorities are actively considering such recommendations, but a decision has not yet been taken.
