ORDER
09.09.2026

1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
2. The Petitioner is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with OR Case No.213/1998-1999 corresponding to OR Case No.213/1998/1999, at present converted to 2(b)cc no 33/1999, pending on the file of learned NGN-cum-JMFC, Rajnagar, Kendrapara for commission of offences punishable under Sections 27 and 29 of the Wild Life Protection Act, 1972.
3. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for pre-arrest bail.
4. Taking into account the nature of allegations and that the Petitioner is about 62 years, this Court directs that on surrendering within three weeks hence and moving for bail, the Petitioner shall be released on bail by the learned Court in seisin on such terms as deemed just and proper.
5. It is needless to state that the Petitioner shall cooperate with the ongoing investigation.
6. Accordingly, the ABLAPL stands disposed of.
