1. Heard Mr. P.C. Mishra, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. S.N. Nayak, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State-Opposite Parties.
2. It is submitted on behalf of the Petitioner that while he was serving as Asst. Teacher in Maa Bhagabati Nodal U.P School, Pandarungi, he was placed under suspension w.e.f. 30.07.2025 for his involvement in CID, CB P.S. Case No.06 dated 20.07.2025 relating to commission of such offences in conducting the OTET Examination. It is further submitted that in the meantime he has been granted bail and thus he may be restored in service. In this regard, his representation is pending with the authority.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Block Education Officer, Basta (Opposite Party No.4) to consider the grievance of the Petitioner as per his representation at Annexure-4 and take decision, in accordance with law, within a Digitally Signed Signed by: BASANTA KUMAR BARIK Reason: Authentication Location: High Court of Orissa, Cuttack Date: 08-Sep-2026 17:12:39 Signature Not Verified period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition.
