1. Heard learned counsel for both the Parties.

2. The Petitioner being a landless person seeks indulgence of this Court by way of a direction to the Opposite Parties to consider their representation pending before it, submitted on 07.01.2026 & 26.05.2026 to be disposed of within a stipulated period.

3. In absence of any objection from the side of Mr. Bal, learned Additional Government Advocate (AGA), without going into the merit of the case and narrating all that has been averred in the Application, this Court disposes of the Writ Petition at the stage of admission, directing the Opposite Party No.2, i.e., the Commissioner, Cuttack Municipal Corporation, Cuttack, to consider the representation so submitted by the Petitioner, if not

disposed of in the meanwhile, within a period of four (04) weeks from the date and to communicate the result thereof within two

(02) weeks thereafter. Since the matter relates to the question of settlement of land, the Petitioner may be given an opportunity of being heard.

4. Needless to say, that the Authority while considering the representation of the Petitioner shall not remain oblivious to the direction passed by the Hon’ble Apex Court in S.L.P.(C) No.10334 of 2023. With the above observations, the Writ Petition stand disposed of.
