1. The matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
2. Heard Mr. Jati, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. Nayak, learned ASC for the State.
3. It is submitted that the Petitioner is a Reader in Economics worked in Sadhu Goureswar College, Kanikapada in the district of Jajpur. She has prayed for application of ORSP Rule, 2017 w.e.f. 1st January 2016 instead of 1st October 2017. It is further submitted that her representation in this regard is pending with the authority and a direction for disposal of the same would serve the purpose.
4. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with a direction to the Secretary to Govt. in Higher Education Department, Bhubaneswar (Opposite Party No.1) to consider the grievance of the Petitioner as per her representation at Annexure-8, in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of Digitally Signed Signed by: SANGRAM DAS Reason: Authentication Location: High Court of Orissa, Cuttack Date: 07-Sep-2026 18:21:00 Signature Not Verified
