1. This is a bail application U/S.483 of BNSS by the petitioner for grant of bail in connection with Puttasingh P.S. Case No.53 of 2024 corresponding to C.T. Case No.08 of 2025 pending in the file of learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Gunupur, for commission of offences punishable U/Ss. 103(1)/61(2)(a)/238(a)/3(5) of BNS, on the main allegation of committing Patricide.

2. Heard, Mr. Sudipto Panda, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. M.R. Patra, learned Addl. PP in the matter and perused the record together with copy of deposition of PWs.1 to 5.

3. After having considered the rival submissions upon perusal of record, no doubt there appears allegation against the petitioner for committing murder of his own father, but there is no direct evidence available on record, however, one of the vital incriminating materials against the petitioner is the recovery of weapon of offence pursuant to his disclosure statement and the witness to the disclosure statement having been examined as PWs.3 & 5 have turned hostile to the prosecution case. The petitioner is in custody since 08.01.2025, but in the meantime, co-accused Anita Sabar and Kamalesh Sabar have already been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in BLAPL Nos. 2575 of 2025 & 12418 of 2025. In the aforesaid premises and on consideration of materials placed on record, this Court without expressing any view on merit, admits the petitioner to bail.

4. Hence, the bail application of the Petitioner stands allowed and the Petitioner is allowed to go on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-five Thousand) only with one solvent surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Court in seisin of the case on such terms and conditions as deem fit and proper by it.

5. Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of. Issue urgent certified copy of the order as per Rules. A soft copy of this order be immediately communicated to the concerned Court, who shall afterwards communicate the same to the concerned Jail through e-mail for reference.
