01. 1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

2. The Petitioner is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with G.R. Case No.333 of 2026, pending on the file of learned S.D.J.M., Keonjhar arising out of Keonjhar Town P.S. Case No.167 of 2026 for commission of offences punishable under Section 338/ 336(3)/ 340(2)/ 319(2)/ 318(4)/ 111(4) of BNS, 2023.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that during the course of investigation the Investigating Agency has taken recourse to the provisions as contained in Section 35(3) of BNSS and the status of the Petitioner in the charge sheet has been shown as “not arrested”.
