1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners and learned counsel for the State.
2. The Petitioners are seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Special (POCSO) Case No.14 of 2026 pending on the file of learned Addl. District & Sessions Judge-cum- Spl. Court under POCSO Act, Angul arising out of Angul Sadar P.S. Case No.87 of 2026 for commission of offences punishable under Section 126(2)/ 296/ 115(2)/ 74/ 76/ 351(3)/ 3(5) of BNS and U/s- 12 of POCSO Act.
3. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for pre-arrest bail.
4. Taking into account the nature of allegations and the filing of the charge sheet, this Court is not inclined to entertain the application for pre-arrest bail. However, in the event the Petitioners surrenders before the learned Court in seisin in the aforesaid case and moves an application for their release on bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit.
5. The ABLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
