1. Heard Mr. I.B. Mohanty on behalf of Mr. A. Mohanty, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mrs. U. Padhi, learned Additional Standing Counsel for State-Opposite Parties.
2. It is submitted that the Petitioner was an applicant for the post of Leave Training Reserve Teacher pursuant to the advertisement dated 22.10.2024 under Annexure-1. It is further submitted that the Petitioner was not included in the merit list due to wrong evaluation of his OMR answer Sheet. According to the Petitioner, he secured 124.25 marks as per the answer key, but has been wrongly given 121 marks only. Thus, he has prayed for re- evaluation of his OMR Sheet in the light of model answer key and his representation in this regard is pending with the authority.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with a direction to the Secretary, Odisha Staff Selection Commission, Bhubaneswar (Opposite Party No.3) to Digitally Signed Signed by: BASANTA KUMAR BARIK Reason: Authentication Location: High Court of Orissa, Cuttack Date: 28-Aug-2026 17:24:14 Signature Not Verified consider the grievance of the Petitioner as per his representation at Annexure-11, in accordance with law, in respect of re- evaluation of his OMR Answer Sheet, within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition.
4. The decision of Opposite Party No.3 may be communicated to the Petitioner without any delay. In the event, the Petitioner is found secured more than the cut-off mark, he is at liberty to approach the appointing authority in that regard.
5. An urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
