ORDER

28.08.2026

01. 1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

2. The Petitioner is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with G.R. Case No.304 of 2026 pending on the file of learned SDJM, Khordha, arising out of Industrial Estate P.S. Case No.68 of 2026 for commission of offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 296, 115(2), 109, 303(2) and 351(2) of BNS, 2023.

3. Learned counsel for the State submits that during the course of investigation the arrest of the Petitioner was not sought inasmuch as charge sheet has already been submitted and in the charge sheet there is no mention of the offence under Section 109 of BNS.

4. In view of the same, since there is no imminent threat of arrest, the ABLAPL accordingly stands disposed of.

5. Liberty is given to the Petitioner to renew his prayer, if there is any fresh cause of action.
