Order No. 25.08.2026
06.
1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

4. Mr. Sarangi, learned Senior Advocate appearing for the Petitioner, however, submits that the Petitioner had earlier moved this Court in W.P.(C) No.3609 of 2026 with a similar nature of prayer. This Court taking into consideration the submission of the Convenor, PG Medical Counseling Committee (Opposite Party
No.2) therein to the effect that at least 51 seats in different disciplines including Physiology were available, disposed of the writ petition vide order dated 25th February, 2026 (Annexure-1) giving liberty to the Petitioner to approach the appropriate authority for accommodating him in his preferred branch Accordingly, the Petitioner made an application on 26th February, 2026 to the Convenor, PG Medical Counselling Committee, 2025 immediately. But the outcome thereof was not communicated to the Petitioner for which he could not take further step in that regard.
5. Mr. Mohanty, learned counsel for the Convenor, PG Medical Counselling Committee-2025 submits that the application of the Petitioner was duly considered and rejected vide order dated 27th February, 2026 under Annexure-A/2 to the counter affidavit. In absence of any approval of the MCC, no stray counseling can be arranged by the Convenor, PG Medical Counseling Committee- 2025 for admission of the Petitioner.
6. In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the parties, this Court is of the considered opinion that no order, as prayed for, can be passed in this writ application at this stage.
7. Hence, the writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
