01. 1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners and learned counsel for the State.
2. The Petitioners are seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with C.T. Case No.645 of 2026 pending on the file of learned SDJM, Nabarangpur, arising out of Nabarangpur P.S. Case No.199 of 2026 for commission of offences punishable under sections 296, 291, 111 & 3 (5) of BNS, 2023 read with Section 11(1)/ 11(A) & 11(d) & 11(h) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.
3. Learned counsel for the State opposes such prayer.
4. Taking into account the nature of allegations, it is directed that on surrendering within three weeks hence and moving for bail, the Petitioners shall be released on bail by the learned Court in seisin on such terms as deemed just and proper.
5. It is needless to state that the Petitioners shall cooperate with the ongoing investigation.
6. Accordingly, the ABLAPL stands disposed of. U.C.C. as per rules.
