1. Heard Mr. S.C.D. Dash, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. S.N. Nayak, learned Additional Standing Counsel for State- Opposite Parties.
2. The Petitioner, who is the Sarpanch of Ibrisingh Gram Panchayat under Tirtol Block in the district of Jagatsinghpur, has prayed for quashing of the direction of the BDO regarding payment of bills in respect of the works done. According to the Petitioner, such works has not been actually done. But the bills have been manufactured and in this regard his grievance is pending with the Collector.
3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with a direction to the Collector, Jagatsinghpur (Opposite Party No.3) to consider the grievance of the Petitioner as per his representation at Annexure-6 and take decision, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date Digitally Signed Signed by: BASANTA KUMAR BARIK Reason: Authentication Location: High Court of Orissa, Cuttack Date: 25-Aug-2026 19:57:03 Signature Not Verified of receipt of certified copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition.
