1. Heard Mr. S.P. Sahoo(1), learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. S.N. Nayak, learned Additional Standing Counsel for State-Opposite Parties.
2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner is working as Physical Education Teacher in Basta Girls High School and her prayer for transfer to a School nearby to her house is pending with the authority.
3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with a direction to the Chairperson, State Transfer Committee, Secondary Education, Department of School and Mass Education, Bhubaneswar (Opposite Party No.4) to consider the grievance of the Petitioner as per her representation at Annexures-4 and 5, and take decision, in accordance with law, Digitally Signed Signed by: BASANTA KUMAR BARIK Reason: Authentication Location: High Court of Orissa, Cuttack Date: 25-Aug-2026 19:57:03 Signature Not Verified within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition.
