1. Heard Mr. R. Samal, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. S.N. Nayak, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State-Opposite Parties.
2. The Petitioner has prayed for his appointment under the Rehabilitation Rules and it is submitted that the application of the Petitioner is pending with the District Education Officer. It is further submitted that the District Education Officer is not taking steps even after issuance of instructions by the Director.
3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with a direction to the District Education Officer, Mayurbhanj (Opposite Party No.4) to consider the grievance of the Petitioner as per his representation at Annexure-6 and take decision, in accordance with law and keeping in view the instructions of the Director of the Secondary Education issued under Annexure-5 series, within a period of three months from Digitally Signed Signed by: BASANTA KUMAR BARIK Reason: Authentication Location: High Court of Orissa, Cuttack Date: 25-Aug-2026 19:57:03 Signature Not Verified the date of receipt of certified copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition.
