ORDER

19.08.2026

01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical) Mode.

2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the Parties.

3. It is contended that even though claim of the Petitioner to get the benefit of appointment under the Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme was considered in the minutes of the Screening Committee Meeting held on 27.12.2023 under Annexure-1 and Petitioner was found eligible to get the benefit of appointment, but till date order of appointment is yet to be issued.

4. It is accordingly contended that Opposite Party No.3 be directed to issue necessary order of appointment

in favour of the Petitioner considering the fact that Petitioner has been found eligible.

5. Learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State on the other hand contended that since Petitioner has not yet moved Opposite Party No.3 to get the benefit of Annexure-1 decision, the Writ Petition is premature.

6. Having heard learned counsel appearing for the Parties and considering the submissions made, this Court while disposing the Writ Petition permits the Petitioner to make an appropriate application before Opposite Party No.3 to get the benefit of the decision taken in the meeting held on 27.12.2023 under Annexure-1.

6.1. It is observed that if any application will be filed within a period of two (2) weeks hence, Opp. Party No.3 shall do well to take a lawful decision on the same within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of such application. The order so passed by Opp. Party No.3 be communicated to the Petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
