ORDER

17.08.2026

03.

1. Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

2. On the last occasion, the matter was adjourned as the learned Additional Government Advocate submitted that they had found a positive clue regarding the whereabouts of the minor victim girl and there was every possibility that she would be recovered from the custody of the accused.

3. Today, learned Additional Government Advocate submits that the girl has been rescued and was produced before the CWC. Her statement was also recorded under Sections 180 and 183 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS). Considering her statement, she has been put in a One Stop Centre. The girl is now in the custody of the CWC, and there is no justification in keeping the instant writ petition pending or directing the girl to remain physically present before this Court.

4. In view of the aforesaid facts, the writ petition is dismissed.
