1. This CRLMP has been filed challenging the order dated 22.01.2026 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jajpur Road in Criminal Appeal No.64 of 2025 (Annexure-4) directing the Petitioner to pay Rs.20,000/- per month to the Opposite Party towards maintenance while issuing notice and granting stay of the impugned judgment dated 30.10.2025 passed by the learned JMFC, Jajpur Road in D.V. No. 40 of 2021, directing the Petitioner to pay an amount of Rs.40,000/- per month to the Opposite Party towards interim maintenance and a sum of Rs.30,00,000/- towards compensation.
2. Ms. Pratyusha Naidu, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Opposite Party submits that pursuant to receipt of notice in Criminal Appeal No. 64 of 2025, the Opposite Party has already entered appearance in the said appeal.
3. Learned counsel for both parties submit that if a direction is issued for the expeditious disposal of Criminal Appeal No. 64 of 2025, it would serve the ends of justice.
4. Considering the submission of both the learned counsel, this CRLMP is disposed of requesting the Additional Sessions Judge, Jajpur Road to take steps for final hearing and disposal of Criminal Appeal No. 64 of 2025 within a period of six weeks from today.
5. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
