1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
2. None appears for the Petitioner at the time of call.
3. Perused the memo filed by the Petitioner for withdrawal of the writ petition.
4. In the said memo dated 1st May, 2026 at Flag-A, it is stated that the writ petition may be permitted to be withdrawn with a liberty to file a better application.
5. Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel vehemently opposes the same. It is his submission that the writ petition, itself, is misconceived and hence, no liberty may be given to the Petitioner to file a fresh writ petition, in the event the prayer for withdrawal is allowed.
6. The writ petition has been filed with a prayer to direct the Land Acquisition Officer, Chattrapur (Opposite Party No.4) to release the share of the Petitioner at an early date.
7. Since none appears for the Petitioner to pursue the writ petition, so also the memo filed, the writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
