ORDER

13.07.2026

WP(C) No.20658, 20662 & 20666 of 2026

The Petitioner-Bank having filed an application under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002, is grieving before the Writ Court as to its pendency indefinitely.

2. Learned counsel for the Bank vehemently submits that applications of the kind have to be treated on a war footing keeping in view a catena of decisions of the Apex Court and of this Court. We agree.

3. Notice to other side is dispensed with, since there is no such requirement in law.

In the above circumstances, the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khorda is requested to process the subject application within an outer limit of five (5) weeks. All contentions are kept open.

Web copy of this order to be acted upon by all concerned.
