ORDER

06.07.2026 Petitioner-borrowers’ textual prayer is as under: “The petitioners therefore prayed that in view of the above mentioned facts and circumstances this Hon'ble Court may kindly admit this writ application and issue appropriate writ to the Opp. Parties calling upon them to tile show cause as to why die letter under Annexure-1 shall not be quashed And further direct to consider the representation of the petitioners for settlement under the scheme. And/or to Pass any such other order/orders as may be deemed fit and proper in die interest of justice;”

2. Learned Panel Counsel appearing for the Bank opposes the petition contending that the total amount due as on 11.04.2026 is about Rs.46,00,000/-. However, this amount is somewhat disputed by the Petitioners.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the Petitioners in variance with the prayer terms, submits that his clients would pay the outstanding amount of Rs.8,18,570/- within two fortnightly installments. He further submits that his clients are ready and willing to pay whatever additional outstanding amount has accrued due since January, 2026. This proposal is fair and reasonable. In the above circumstances, petition is disposed off, permitting the Petitioners to make payment of the entire money, as indicated above, and also the amount that would accrue due as on this day, within three fortnightly installments. During the said period, the NPA shall be treated as having been kept under suspended animation, subject to revival, if undertaking is not adhered to. The first installment would accrue due on 22.07.2026. Web copy of this order to be acted upon by all concerned.
