ORDER
03.07.2026
02.
1. By the judgment and order dated 01.05.2023, the demand raised by the authority was quashed and set aside and a direction was passed upon the Additional Land Officer to forthwith issue demand for conversion fees on the basis of the order dated 22.04.2010 within a stipulated time.
2. The present contempt application was taken out alleging the willful and deliberate violation of the direction and/or order passed in the writ petition being W.P.(C) No.5861 of 2020.
3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in the meantime, the compliance has been secured and a fresh demand for conversion fees was raised upon the petitioner which, in fact, has already been paid.
4. The aforesaid factum of issuance of a fresh demand in terms of the said order/judgment is corroborated by the document annexed to the compliance affidavit filed by the alleged contemnor.
5. In view of the fact that the order has been duly complied with, there is no justification in keeping the instant contempt application pending. Thus, the contempt proceeding is hereby dropped.
6. The CONTC is, accordingly, disposed of.
