ORDER

Order No. 23.06.2026

(Through Hybrid Mode)

01.

1. This CRLMP has been filed for a direction to the Opposite Parties to immediately register the FIR of the present petitioner and to take action against the culprits who are blackmailing him.

2. It is stated in the CRLMP that on 19.05.2026, the Petitioner found certain objectionable photographs / posters were posted on the wall of his office inside the factory premises and circulated. On 26.05.2026 misleading facts had been published in the Sambad. In between, the Petitioner had received calls from persons stating that they were reporters. But he ignored the calls and became sure that he has become a victim of blackmailing and two local reporters are trying to extract gratifications from him. Although he lodged FIR on 31.05.2026, but no case was registered. He has sent copy of the complaint to the Opposite Party No.2 - S.P., Balangir by speed post.

3. It is submitted by Mr. Ashis Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner has become a victim of blackmailing and other local people are also harassing the Petitioner.

4. After hearing Mr. Ashis Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the Petitioner and perusing the CRLMP as well as Annexures-1, 2 and 3, I am not satisfied that this is a fit case where in exercise of jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, any direction should be issued to the Opposite Parties to register any case.

5. The Petitioner is however, at liberty to avail the alternate remedy which is available to him under law.

6. With this observation, the CRLMP is disposed of.

7. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
