09.

1. None appears in support of the writ petition.

2. The instant writ petition in the nature of the habeas corpus is at the behest of the mother of the minor victim girl who is allegedly kidnapped by the accused person and kept in wrongful detention and, therefore, the police may be directed to produce the said victim girl before this Court.

3. It is submitted by the learned Additional Government Advocate that after an extensive raids, the minor victim girl has been rescued from the clutches of the accused person and was produced before the Child Welfare Committee, Balasore. By an order of the CWC, she is kept in a One Stop Center, Balasore and is staying there. The case has been registered against the accused persons and appropriate steps have been taken against them. It is further submitted that no leniency can be shown to the accused person who have allegedly committed an offence and all the procedures provided under the act shall be taken by the police administration.
