ORAL ORDER

18-08-2026

1. Heard learned counsel for the appellants and learned counsel for the Spl. PP, Ms. Usha Kumari 1 for the State.

2. The learned Spl. PP at the outset submits that there is a delay of 319 days in filing the appeal and from perusal of the grounds taken in the limitation application, it would manifest that the same is cryptic and does not inspire confidence, as it has been pleaded that appellant was not informed by his learned counsel about rejection of his anticipatory bail application by the learned District Court.

3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Patna High Court CR. APP (SJ) No.2715 of 2026(3) dt.18-08-2026

appellants is not in a position to rebut the said submission of the learned Spl. PP

4. Considering the submission made by the learned Spl. PP, the Court is not inclined to condone the delay in filing the appeal, as such, the limitation application as well as the appeal is dismissed.
