The prayer in the present petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is for the issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction including a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents No.2 to 4 to provide the life, liberty and personal safety of the petitioners and to restrain private respondents No.5 to 7, their associates, relatives or any person acting at their instance from threatening, harassing, assaulting, unlawfullly restraining or otherwise interfering with their peaceful married life and to take appropriate action upon the representation dated 08.09.2026 (Annexure P-5).

3. Ms. Puneeta Sethi, Addl.A.G., Haryana, present in the Court, accepts notice and at the very outset, submits that the representation dated 08.09.2026 (Annexure P-5) has not been received by the concerned authorities yet.
